What Drives Us
The University Of Los Angeles is committed to becoming a premier institution in the world today and for future generations through outstanding research, innovation, scholarship, education, preservation, and practice. We are driven by the ambition to not only provide a world-class facility and quality education for our students but also to uplift the black community and minorities in the country. The national unemployment rate for the year 2021 is at 10.5% overall and for the minorities, it is much higher at 15.1%. This indicates a significant gap in employability prospects of the black community and the minorities compared to the general population. We have taken on this challenge to tackle this major issue by equipping them with skills to make them employment-ready and financially independent for the real world. We hope our efforts will ensure our students a much better quality of life in the future than what they are leading at present.
